I think I read in another post quite a while ago that these books come in two different styles, the purple one and another type. Currently I only have the purple type; perhaps someone else more knowledgeable than I can shed more light on this?

About a year ago, I spent a few days in Khaldun. The books come in 2 varieties. The blue/purple book and the smaller maroon/brown color.
