Mia Khalifa, past proprietor of the Safe Haven Onsen and current consort to Calavera, wishes to make known her intention to stand for Governor of Minoc in one month's time.

In light of the recent slight against Lyssa, ever a friend of rogues, scoundrels, and other esteemed residents of Minoc, Mia asks that you stand with her against the political maneuvering and encroachment by GILFANE into a part of Britannia historically reserved for the free spirits, independent thinkers, and creative "interpreters" of the King's laws.

Mia encourages all available residents of Safe Haven, Barter Town, and our "extralegal" trading partners of the Zento underworld to declare for Minoc in order to repel the oppressive dictates of GIL and their authoritarian regime back to the Western Woods.

While Vice prides itself on independence, she hopes in this instance our guilds can work together. TDO, B^A, FYOU, IPKU, BONE, and all other free peoples are encouraged to stand against the pseudo-Virtuous. They may have large enough coffers to buy an office from the King between elections, but Mia hopes you can help her KEEP MINOC FREE!

As noted above, I will be entering my VvV alt Mia Khalifa for Governor of Minoc in the coming election. (Sorry Victim, but I'll have to withdraw my citizenship from Vesper for both of my toons).

Well, Minoc and Moonglow and Vesper need to stick together. Otherwise one day we will all login to a server list that no longer says Siege Perilous but instead reads Hoff's Place. And if I recall, Minoc did have a free keep on Friday. Ask York how that went! Not sure who ended up placing there.

But you will have to check all those houses by yourself, right? I mean, that's the golden rule of IDOCing: Someone gotta check on a regular basis, which takes time

So essentially, even if I have alot of sympathy for your proposal, there is no monopolization going on, when certain guilds simply invest alot of work for checking and doing the IDOC rather professionally. They are sharing their wealth and keep personal stuff like soukstones etc...

So, here is my offer: If any new governor, regardless of who it will be in the end, needs a deputy helping him to check houses, I will help. I am all for public IDOCs so that everybody can share the wealth. Especially newbs and museum people

Ok, then I missed something in all those years when I did alot of Idocs. I always checked manually and for me, running around seemed to me the most boring and annoying part. For me, it was like Work...

Is there a different way to do idocs? That's the part I hated running around to check each house by itself.

...I dont know... I do it the way you hate it. And I hate it, too. Thats why I dont do it anymore. Have so many better things to do with my time. And thats why I said: If people invest all the effort in it, you cant talk about monopolization. Its just good work...
