I don't get to run enough because I have a crappy computer

I Usually do not run alot in one mage vs. one mage scenario ( I need the practice and most people on this shard tend to be decent with ya when you give them a mage vs mage) but I do move alot vs dexers even if its one v one; the reason being? I have yet to see a dex guy stay on ym screen When I get the upper hand so why not truck it and spam bushido when they get me in a bad place.

I am hoping to geta new gaming computer in a couple months after a couple rl priorities get taken care of. In the mean-time I am really starting to get used to the new uo targeting system but it is not second nature yet. ATM I am at a point where I know what needs to be done and sometimes stumble over macroes trying to get it done.

"poison, weaken, harm, fireball/ma" spam combo. I know how it works, but guess what? It's easily negated with weaken spamming back. that's why it didn't work on me buddy, because every newb who tries to mage duel tries that combo.

Truth, also, screw weaken spam, just cast weaken right after you get hit with the poison, normally throws all but the best off.

Do you want me to just magically be 120ed out? Because Speedy is gone, do you not see my post asking to buy scrolls? You say I make excuses, the only things I have said are

A) I am(or was) a better dueler than you, seeing as how I beat you down.

B) I feel I am(or was) better than Kage. I beat him in the field, he never beat me.

C) I beat Nym in the field, because I did, and I have a picture of that and the pics there after of Dan and Kage asking me to join KoC.

Now you're the one saying your computer sucks, and that I don't know how to combo. So please tell me:

If I am not a good field fighter, how did I beat two of your "best field fighters"?

If I don't know combos and how to cycle, then why did I just explain the very cycle you ALWAYS try to use, and even if I don't know how to cycle, are you saying if I learned I'd be even better? Because you know, and I still beat you, so if I learn will I just embarass you off the shard? I admit a few things:

Forsaken is better than me, at both dueling, and field fighting, but he was never leaps and bounds above me. We fought before I joined KoC and went pretty close, although I knew he was better than me at that point.

Sunchicken, despite us being pretty close in the dueling record with each other, is a better duelist than me. Rightfully so, he admitted to doing it constantly with his brother on Great Lakes. I've really only ever dueled to shut newbies like you up(as I did the first time) or for fun with friends. In P16 when dueling actually took more than key mashing, I cared about it.

I've posted my ping on this board somewhere before I believe, and it was around 54, so while I am not as slow as Elmer, I sure as hell am not as fast as some guys like Virgil. I give props where props are due. Kage is a good mage, but he talked **** a few times and couldn't back it up, to both me and Vogg. Sake is good, props to him. Sun is a great dueler, props to him. Tek has been good since we played together back in OiN. You however, have never, EVER impressed me. Maybe you went and played on test center or something and got better, I don't know, but I doubt it.

So please stop crying about my excuses, because from my end, I am giving props where props are due. You're just mad I came out of nowhere and won Siege's heart

Now that I've broken you're spirit (and ego) maybe we can be a bit more serious.

Did you see me say you're not a good field PvPer? No. What I said was the truth about your PvP skills and your super inflated ego got hurt. Boo. Frreaking. Hoo. Cry some more about it?

Now did you see me mention myself or any of my "skills" in that post? No. Because I didn't even compare myself to you (or anyone else for that matter,) but I compared each of you against each other. I even forgot to mention players like Critical Gaming (who by the way, owns your FACE in every way at this game.)

Now if you want to talk about comparing the two of us? I'll let our future fight on this do the talking.

The only thing that's changed about me since that time we dueled is that I'm no longer on a laptop thats almost a decade old. As most have noticed, there's a pretty damn big difference in fighting me now compared to before.

So let's go ahead and put a mil on this, each. I want to make some pocket change.

Well first ill comment about the people the post was made about. Sprago has killed me in the field 1vs1. Ive had a round or two with righty he seems to be better than most siege mages. Super is a great mage to fight beside throws good dumps and great with heals.

Id like to thank everyone that complemented me. I do apologize for my absence on siege.
Ive been uber busy and having to spread my uo time to other places. I do look forward to playing siege in the future its just the population isnt suportive of my level of pvp. What time i do get to spend playing i have been dueling in the great lakes dueling tournament or partacting is some pretty intense faction fights.

Next, I take my hat off to anyone who even atempts to play a mage competitivly (typo). Takes more nerve to try to learn mage pvp than any other template in uo.

PvPing against you all for years on my crappy laptop, I am laughing at those of you complaining about a crappy computer.

My break down of mages on this shard is as follows:

Kage is hands down one of the best field fighters out there. Only other that is really on his level is Sakie. Dueling, Kage could be a lot better if he put his mind to it... Only other people at this level in field PvP that I've seen in the past were Jaster and Jim Grecko.

Speedy - Good field fighter. Dueling, could be better but much like most mages on this shard, he doesn't know how to combo at all. If he didn't have a good conn/computer he wouldn't be as good.

Forsaken - Best mage on the shard.

Sunchicken - Great dueler, not as good on the field as he could be. #2 dueler on Siege, IMO.

Puffy - lol!!! People used to tell me he was decent, but every time I've seen him PvP, he's sucked. Average at best.

Tek - Great field fighter. Dueled him a few months back and he also doesn't know how to combo. I also thought walking off my screen every time he was about to die was cute.

Tibs - Decent field fighter. Runs too much from my experience... style reminds me of Dante and Strom's.

Sprago - not a dueler, decent field fighter. Also runs too much.

Righty - Same as Tibs.

Superstition - Great at being a support mage.

Hef - Same as Tibs.

T.K. - On a higher level than most mentioned but not higher than Speedy (who I consider ranked at the bottom of good mages on this shard.)

Calypso - Mediocre mage, the guys only advantage is that he's faster than most players on Siege...

Morgan La Fey - no idea, this person's a solo-artist and has only ran from me the two time's we've encountered each other.

Crucial Conflict - PvPs like it's 2006... not bad at it though...

Monolith - Same as Calypso.

Cash (archite) - OK mage, relies on mostly defensive templates.

Big Ed (pathagaris) - great field fighter, ok dueler.

Nym - Great field fighter, ok dueler.

Calibretto - Good field fighter, ok dueler.

Meph - Great mage.

Voodoo - Great field fighter, same problem as Speedy with combos though.

... as well as implying that you did just fine with a crappy laptop. So while not directly mentioning your skills, you certainly made reference to them. And c'mon, fer real, everyone in the freakin western world knows you think you're the 2nd greatest pvp'r of all time and would be 1st if only you could bring yourself to stand up once in a while, but you seem to enjoy sakie's balls so much you just can't bring yourself to do it.

Nice how someone who doesn't duel how you do, somehow they're lesser. If they get the job done, who cares? Maybe it's more efficient, maybe it's not.
