This wouldn't make anyone lose any pets. The ones that are over the cap would just have their stables locked until they took enough pets out to open a slot up according to the total of their real skills.

As I have said, I fully agree that stable slots should be based on real skill and that those that go under a certain skill level should have their stables locked from adding more pets until they either removed those over the limit or got their skill back up.

Sadly you are right. Whatever point he was trying to make is definitely lost in the middle of his insults. I still don't see what he is trying to say, not from lack of effort on my part though. He just seems to want to keep making longer and longer quote posts without really saying anything.

Enigma, I don't mean this badly, but you have a way of taking what seems a simple enough argumenent and making it far more complicated than it needs to be and pulling it off in all directions. It's not always easy to keep on the same track that you are, or discern exactly what you're saying at times.

If EA were to announce the forthcoming change at the login screen well in advance, that tamer has the opportunity to swap out their pets if they choose. Or ask a friend to help them out. I've had help now and then and helped out my partner and friends to shuffle pets around between chars, so tamers can do the same if necessary.

You made it perfectly clear in the tamer forum that you want Tamers nerfed and you could care less about the long term ramifications. Just so long as you got your way. Which is of course the intent to remove all mods on all items. It was particularly touching how you advocate this to prevent Tamers from being nerf'd. I agree in theory. If, and I would hope that they wouldn't, but if EA decided to make a change like this , they should definitely give those affected a chance to fix the issue themselves before pushing through a major change like this. For the jewel users it wouldn't be too hard to just pop on the rings and transfer some pets to other characters. But for those that lowered their skill for whatever reason, getting it back up to a high enough level would take a little work. Letting them have a chance to save the pets at least would make sense.

I'm going to chime in here and add to all the recent complaining about moronic things.

Jewelry is OVERPOWERED. OVERPOWERED I SAY. A piece of Jewelry giving you mods? WTF mates. WOW. I can't believe this was ever put in. This is far more of a problem than anything else in the game.
