I would love to see a Blackthorn wedding. The new queens' coronation and nuptials and the fete afterward could be story-book level epic. Only problem is that who would he marry? There are many available Duchesses in the realms, of which am one. But would it need to be a player or an NPC? I'd say that an NPC would be a better choice and she would need to be created from scratch. Perhaps make her as one of Lord British's noblewomen that caught the eye of Blackthorn. She would need to be the yin to Blackthorns yang to balance out his chaotic habits.

Perhaps the Gypsies should create their own fiefdom in Ilshinar. They are already well established there and maybe they can build a castle were Blackthorns old stronghold once stood.

I think it would HAVE to be a NPC. Choosing a player would cause all kinds of issues.

It could make a neat contest though: design the new queen. Have some guidelines for her (or him, why not? we don't know what Blackthorn prefers!), make a character on Test Center and dress her up all queenly, write a background story for her, something along those lines. Submissions should not be based on pre-existing characters. Have the EMs/dev team eliminate unworkable submissions. Then have players vote. It would be even better on a per shard basis. Could be fun.

Unless the goblins are right about Blackthorn... I mean, his story IS a little fishy.

I would make her a little like Dawn maybe. Perhaps the daughter of Nu'jelm's Sultan would be a good fit if she's not already betrothed to another. I would suggest that if Blackthorn did court and wed someone, that there would be more than one noblewoman vying for his attention. It could be a mish-mash of two stories in my mind. King Arthur/Camelot that includes Morgana and Gwenevere and Cinderella and the two evil step-sisters vying for the hand of the prince. As far as which gender Blackthorn would prefer, can we leave political correctness out of this discussion, please? I don't speak for everyone, but I would like to see the king have a lineage at some point with little princes and princesses running about the castle.

NO Gypsies are all over Illshenar..... what needs to go there is a new Keep owned and run by the Vanguard. Where you can kill them and get Dread Warhorses once again.

There could be a few permanent stone and wood structures, but it'd mostly be a gypsy caravan ground.. Maybe some impromptu silos. Not like a big castle though. Be cool to have some underground cave type areas, that are occasionally haunted with ghosts, or the stuff of gypsy tales.

We do not need a castle... *thinks, too much housework*... and a fiefdom is interesting, but not enough... it's time for gypsies to rule the Kingdom!
