Its been some 4 years...

Its been around 4 years since I gave away my account, adamant that I would never return. I barely managed to resist the Stygian Abyss expansion but now this High Seas expansion looks mighty interesting! I was all geared up to return, downloaded the beta and was ready to reactivate my account. I sat here writing in my log in details and BANG. I remembered I gave it away :| That was my house, rares, arties and eh god knows what else all given away (Hope the guy enjoyed it ). I cant seem to find my Stratics log in either so I presume its long gone.

Now feeling completely gutted (and annoyed at myself for forgetting) I am hoping that someone might have an old account with some age to it they no-longer want/have any use for that I may take over please? The thought of starting again with a brand new account is upsetting to say the lest (my account was at the time 4 years old) and I'ld like to be able to use ethy mounts etc.

I know it sounds like I'm pleading (I'm a little pleader apparently) but if anyone remembers me Mortagoth and Dunwich (my two mains) please show some mercy!! Also are any of my old friends still about? Everything seems so different in UO now. Amazing what a difference a few years make. I used to play on Atlantic, Lake Superiour and Origin if anyone remembers me?

Eh is there anyone left on Origin? I log in on a trial account and its litterly abandoned (Same for the forum here it seems).

Looks like I wont be coming back to Origin no point when theres no-one around on the shard, although probably more chance to get a castle here lol.

I havent logged in for quite some time myself, but there are still people here.. they tend to hide a lil now and then, but they're here.

Either way it goes, it seems most shards are kind of low pop. right now. Hopefully that will change with the upcoming booster pack(s).

The purchase of an SA new account code gives the account *new player smell* for thirty days that allows for the traditional raising of skills at .1 gain at a time to be replaced by a randomized gain factor of .2 to .5 for each gain anywhere for the first thirty days.

Further, those substantial gain improvements transfer themselves to other party members as well.

Should you decide to return you should suffer no lack for companions as you adventure.

I've had a look around, ran around the various facets and didnt find many people. I couldnt even find a runebook vendor! Its going to be very difficult starting from scratch in Origin as the average starting player wont have that much gold to start with and very little resources to go out to the deeper dungeons.

Its a shame but Origin dosnt seem to be the ideal place to start a new character without anyone else to either help or offer companionship. Is there an ideal location to meet other people in Origin or is it destined to be a place of whispers?
