I heard a few weaks ago that they attend to let us turn in these now useless blue essences from the halloween quest two years ago? Strange thing i dont see it on the list of items that be turned on uoguide?
I remember after the halloween event they told us to keep some of the blue essences as they will be used for future events?

I hope they will go through the turn in list before it goes live, currently you are getting way too many points for common, useless holiday items. I know that clean up brit is atleast supposed to be a chance to get rid of those common, useless holiday items, but giving that many points for them only rewards hoarders.

And why can you turn in items like fp for 500 points, no sane person is gonna do that...what is the reasoning to even have that kinda things on the list ?

Not that im complaining much, if that list goes live ill be sitting at few million points for just the crap I currently have in my houses.....

They should definitely scrap the bless deed and add something kool and interesting that's purely deco or serves a simple purpose like a skill tool. I say they should add a kool clothing item like make the ethereal cloak a high point item. Throw in those rare colored clothes too. And maybe make a metallic cloth dye tub at the very top of the list. HEHE Since they mysteriously decided to just declare it illegal one day. Dang police state.... OOO, and to make it even more interesting, maybe make for like 10 million points, you can get an imbueable replica or artifact of your choice. I'm full of ideas that knock the bless deed out of the water.

I know vet rewards generally shouldn't be on the list but we seem to be drowning in some of the 1st year rewards. I was hoping to turn in black/special/leather/furniture dye tubs. The first year robes and cloaks and 1st year monster statues like Dragon Lich and Deamon. Anyone test these?

So, instead of an item that saves you around 300 gold per death... for what is a decent amount of tickets, you want something that potentially adds an even higher-tier of equipment for people to be competitive?

I don't see the big deal against the bless deeds, we have insurance... so people pay a one-time fee instead of an over-time fee, it's not like you can unbless and rebless items with it, so if you change what you use, it's gone.

Silver was 5-10x harder to get than Coppers. Gold was 5-10x harder than silvers.

Having all the same amount is a joke.

Its like saying 120 scrolls are same point value as 110 scrolls.

I would love to see BoDs added to the turn in, points varied just like Treasure maps are. The higher the level the more poitns its worth. That would get rid of a ton of useless bods sitting around that people have given up on.

From the Heritage Tokens the only item that can be turned in is the gauntlets of valor for 1,500 points ?

Do I recall wrong or in 2008 there were more items that could be turned in from Heritage Token and for 8,000 points each ?

while preparing vendors for Turn-In item sales [50gold@pt], I decided to take a chance on smelting some loose ore (smalls) to ingots to sell off:13k ver, 6k aga, 4k val; 1kshadow and a few hundred gold - it pd off, Zero fails, smelting each in it's entirety.
Fail rate is normally 40-50% on upper end ore, wonder if it got adjusted for this event or if the rng just liked me today?

Considering that 100 gp give 1 point, and that a Conjuror's Trinket on average sells still in excess of 10 millions gp, math here does not add up much.....

Why should a player who owns a Conjuror's Trinket ever turn it in to earn 10,000 points ?

I mean, ain't it better to sell it on the market for, say, a bare minimum of 10 millions gp and THEN, use the 10 millions gp to earn 100,000 points ?

The Crystalline Ring is even a much staggering example, it only award 100 points and yet, it sells on the market quite easily for 13-14 millions if not more.

Why would anyone discard a Crystalline Ring to earn 100 points when they can sell it on the market for 14 millions and then use the gold to earn 140,000 points ??

Other examples could be made with several 120 powerscrolls selling for millions and yet only awarding 2,500 points.........

There is math that does not add up much for me with the way points were calculated.

But I am not talking about value, I am talking about the end goal of getting as many points as possible towards Clean Up rewards.....

The fact that some items like the Conjurr's Trinket, or the Crystalline Ring or some particular 120 Powerscrolls like Magery, Eval Int Bushido and others still have a good market and can be sold for 10+ millions in the end pays off to get MORE points......

And not just a few more points but a WHOLE lot more points.....

In the examples I gave, the Conjurr's Trinket can yield 100,000 points rather than 10,000 (10 times more) and the Crystalline Ring 140,000 points rather than 100 (1,400 times more...).

So, I am talking points, not value........
In the end, what matters is the most points one gets and if selling the item and then buying the points with that same gold yields a WHOLE LOT more points why would anyone just discard the items in a trash bin ???

This is why I am saying that math does not add up here for me and I am not sure what logic was used to calculate whatever points items would award when turned in under the new Clean Up.

Want another example ? The Crimson Cincture.

Discarding it in a Trash bin yields 100 points. That's it.

Yet, it is common knowledge that a Cimson Cincture can sell well, and rather easily, for like 13-14 millions, moreless like the Crystalline Ring.

Spending these same millions to earn Clean Up points would yield 130,000-140,000 points rather than 100 points. More math that does not add up here for me.........

Would be nice for the large pieces of blackrock to be able to turn in (contrary to the reports, every piece i've tried has no point value). Would also be nice for the much much rarer "piece of blackrock" (not the smalls) that were in limited numbers over all the shards as opposed to unlimited be worth more than 12 points.

The one on TC has 30k uses. so divide the number of points it gives by 30k and multiply by 15.

Topiaries are the x mas ones, same for snowy trees.

Poinsetias give 6,5

yeah, some things are better Selling rather than used as a turn-in, some are border line. imagine if it included those "impossibly priced" Cu's, like a blaze one, think they'd give you a 500mil value? no way. and what's a deal/dud value today might change in 6mths to the opposite. they look long term, not just this month.
