Item Conversions

Maybe this has been answered before but why aren't all items allowed to be converted to Gargoyles items(and back, perhaps)? I noticed in the patch's notes that a few more have been added already, what's keeping them back then?

Because the DEV's are lazy???

Because they refuse... hence why 90% of items can't even be converted TO gargoyle let alone back again...

Because it would make too much sense.

Because Gargoyles only know how to be selfish?

Because apparently humans and elves are too stupid to transform items into something useful... and only gargoyles are smart enough to do that...



And I still say that in my opinion it would be extremely awesome if we could somehow alter items of "like" quality into items of the same quality..... take an armor of fortune and because it's "mage" armor be able to turn it into a bustier if I so desire... or leaf armor...

I'd like to be able to take my hunters headress and turn it into something better like a circlet.. or a bandanna ..... but I guess that is asking too much.


But I agree we should be able to take gargish items and reverse the process but alas we can not.

I'm thinking that's more than a little unfair. From what little I know of the industry the work load is pretty intense and you wouldn't last long in any game development studio if you were lazy...

Back on topic, I'm hoping soon we can go back and forth with things, my Gargoyle is going without an apron or sash until I can go back and forth because I'm not wasting a Crimmy and LT Sash just for one toon. I don't have 7 so I need to be able to swap them to the toon I'm going to be using at the time. Come on Devs!

Malagaste does have a point though, this topic's been brought up so many times..! I suppose with imbuing you can make your armour look just the way you want(unless you need it to be meddable without adding "Mage Armour").. Still not all of it however, considering people still use Faction items of course, and various other arties.

Anyway...

they should do like they did for vet cloaks,robes,etc.

a public chest that will convert items. maybe even female to male armor pieces as well
