Can... uh... It's fairly rare that something UO makes me relatively speechless, but...

The Boura mount...

Did I miss something, or did Boura shrink, lose their detail, get scared by a severe ghost making them more pale than Powder, and, uh, grow a pair of breasts on their shoulders?

I mean... when I heard of the Boura mount, I thought, "Well, okay, not my cup of tea, but it could look cool."

I've sort of been reduced to "Well, okay, not my cup of tea."

There's something fundamentally wrong with the artwork... it just doesn't look much like a boura at all, and the armor is missing something (and has too much of other things).

Not the best work I've seen...

First off ... where have you been? We've been posting pics of the mount all over. It's been available on Test Center for a long time. Second, if you're going to start a thread with the word "breasts" in it, and there are no pictures for, ahem, comparative purposes, for shame!

I'll have to dig up an old post I made, but basically, the problem is if EA mounted a regular boura then you couldn't go through doors.

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but it's hard to think that UO art has been on the better side of awful for a LONG time...

Hehe well ... I was just being silly . To me, the boura just has spikes ;P ... but I agree in that, when I first saw the ethy model, I asked "why?" So I'm on board for half of the criticism, considering the odd white hue which, I assume, is best described as a "baby" boura, or something along those lines? ... but yeah, the reason they made a new model is because the current boura was too "tall" on the z-axis.
