Hey everyone.
I know others have had this issue and have posted about it but I don't think it has been consolidated into a thread. Sorry if it has and I missed it.
The issue it this: At least sometimes when you buy a code from the EA Store (which is how I bought it), the upgrade code (the one you have to put into UO.com's account management screen) isn't in the E-Mail you receive.
The codes have always before been in the confirmation E-Mail, and we had every expectation for it to be there this time...Save that it's not.
Instead, your upgrade code is in your EA Store receipt. And only there. It appears to be unrecoverable when you log out of the EA Store. It has been unrecoverable for at least some people. (Some people, I have read, have recovered the code this way. But not everyone.)
This issue did happen to me but I lucked out. This is not rumor, I have directly experienced this issue with my own eyes, and the people I know who've had this issue I trust 100%. I just happen to have still had my receipt up when I checked my E-Mail and noticed that the E-Mail didn't contain the code. So I quickly copied and pasted the code.
I should not need a luck suit to get my upgrade code.
So far, customer service has been of no help; they don't know that UO:High Seas is an EA product.
It seems to only be the EA store that has the issue. You'll want to fix this, and have a solution and an apology for those already effected.
