Issue with getting stuck in auto run

I play the 3d client and have noticed that quite often now I will be running around even for short distances and I go into auto run and can't get out. I have not hit the left mouse button and i click myself and the ground and it still takes several seconds to get me out of autorun. This makes it really hard to hunt or do anything really if I have to move around. I mean i have gotten killed because in stead of running up to a monster and attacking I run up and get the agro and i cant stop moving while its blasting me with spells. It's been a problem since I started playing again, about a month. Does anyone know if they are working on this issue?

Happens to me too. I know I have seen this is issue listed on the bug list over on the EC forums and I know we are not alone. Here's hoping it is fixed soon!

Alas, this is a long-running bug.

It appears that when the system gets overloaded the client can miss the "right mouse button up" event when you stop moving, which would be why it continues to follow the cursor.

I complained about it in beta and I still complain about it now... It's extremely annoying to get stuck constantly following your curser.

It makes me not want to hunt lol. Cause I know I am gonna die stupidly lol. And my body always falls into this really awkward pose so that when I res I have a terrible neck ache. Alchemists should be able to make tylenol lol. Nah but it is really annoying and if its been around for ages then they really should have fixed it before spending all their time and effort on an expansion where it would still be a problem.

All the more reason to stick to 2d =) I would love to see an always walk option though for my stealthers =)
