What I wish now that things are so tight is that there was a way that the repairman could be called 24 sim hours a day, rather than just between the hours of 9am-6pm. In RL when repairmen and plumbers come out 'after hours' they charge extra, but most still will come out. Maybe after hours they could charge us 60 or 75 simoleans a sim hour instead of 50. I am willing to bet the lots that have pianos on them would be more than happy to pay that rather than pay the repair costs on those if they break at night, because if just one breaks, the whole room score flattens. I got mad as a hornet last night because the roomie at the house I was in had gone extended afk and there was two pianos that needed to be fixed, and it was 10 pm sim time. Nobody could get better than 3 bars green because of it. I would have happily called the repairman as a guest but like I said it was 14 sim hours before he would have come, plus I did not wish to reward that roomie for obviously circumventing timeout. We still have our unique skill speeds in TC3, so I just went to another house that had creativity and skilled my two sims there on creativity alone at 144%. I don't know if anybody has ever said what's up with that, but I love it.....DON'T fix it LOL it's wonderful to be able to boycott houses that we don't like even though they have the number of sims in them whereas the old way if they were the only house that was open with the speed, you were stuck going there or going without skilling which with all the custom craftable orders I've got, isn't an option.
