(Question) is this a bug?

recently started seige,

i have a character that is @ 91 magery, but does NOT have a spell book, i have a runebook that has 0/16 charges shown,

the bug or not: i can select a rune inside the runebook and gate to that location without the above spellbook or runebook charges?

surely that is not normal?

only other thing i can think to mention is im using pinco's ui,

only other thing i can think to mention is im using pinco's ui,

don't know if it's a bug either, but when you make a runebook, you use a gate scroll and a recall scroll, so i am thinking the spell is considered to be "in" the runebook. It has been like this for quite some time now as I was doing it a few years back.

Yeh. That is not a bug. Thats normal since it is an option in the book. Just like on prodo shards, you can use recall without having a spellbook.

As far I know, magery scrolls can be used without a spellbook as the spell is included in the scroll but you still need enough magery to use it.
I think Victim is right, the gate and recall scroll is in the runebook. You will still need regs or a LRC suit

i thought those rune books did not work at all on seige - ie you had to cast a normal gate and target the rune book but you couldnt just click the button to have the rune book cast for you. so i suggested to dupapa that for it to now work is a bug (not that it needs to be fixed)

am I right that in the past this didnt work?

as far as i can remember it has worked by clicking the blue diamond or by targeting. Do not remember a time it did not, unless it was during my almost two year absence.
