Is there a place set up somewhere where we can leave stuff that others might want?

Some container somewhere we can leave good items, scrolls, or whatever, that we don't want and others can look through to see if they want them.

We used to donate that type of thing to New and New2, now i do not know of anywhere to donate it.

I've placed two chests beneath a bulletin board in front of my greenhouse that items someone else might want can be left in. Go straight west out of Zento past the south end of the mountains, it's the second building from the shoreline.

It's complicated. If you just leave it in anyone secures, you risk a little kid will loot everything, even when he really don't need it.
If you choose to make it so the users of the secures need to be accessed to house, it's hard to manages as house will need leaders, who can access people.

The house I have in New Mag, could be used. It's already a public house. I may need to clean it up a little. It won't have a lot of storage but I can make 3 color containers there.

I already have a few from it was NEW2 house.
Yellow is free for all, Anyone secure
Blue is friend of house, Friend secure
Green was Guild secure, I may leave a single box for that
Purple are my private secure, used for my vendors mainly, I will limit that to a few secures

Now if I friend all I somewhat trust, add a co-owner from each of 2 large alliances, who can friend too, it could work until we get to many friends of the house.
One way to clean up on friend list could be, check on MyUO, if a member of house, have been logged in on Siege the last 3 month, if not and friend list do have a problem, remove the person.
Tell people, that can happen, when you add them and they have to ask to be refriended, if they start to play again.

Now, add better stuff to Blue secures and newbie stuff and less valueable to Yellow.
Sure we will still risk someone run of with everything but in that case, we do get cleaned up, and there is room for new stuff.
