Should have mentioned, that is through equipment...



then you get more from meditation, focus, i am assuming wisp and lich form, etc...

Technically there isn't a cap - however there are diminishing returns and taking MR beyond 30 is pretty much worthless.

there is no CAP on MR.
there is just a cross over point where going higher does such an insignificant amount of gains that it is not worth it.
or, as its called here, Diminishing Returns.
and that point for MR is 30.
so you can go over 30 there is just no point to it.

The Mana Regeneration item property is now subject to the principle of diminishing returns.

• The hard cap on MR has been removed.
• As the total MR from items increases, each successive point of MR will give less overall mana regeneration.
  • This means that adding more MR will always give more mana regeneration.
  • This also means that as you put more MR items on, you get less of a bonus from each additional MR item.
• Having higher Meditation and / or Focus skill will give a bonus to mana regeneration gained from MR items.
• Meditation and /or Focus will now benefit for intermediate values and not just for multiples of 10 (i.e. 80.1 used to give you same MR bonus at 89.9).

The above just confuses people. For practical purposes it's best to just say the cap is 30 mr as the diminishing returns are so severe 60 mr is not much better than 30.

But I am to understand that med and lich form stack on top of that 30 with no loss?

Are the diminishing returns due to equipment that will have to be such that the other equipment mods will need to be gimped, OR that MR 40-60 just does not provide double the MR like in MR 60 vs 30? (If there is such thing as MR 60)..?Thanks
