Is the perspective wrong on ground cover?

I was looking at some Halloween pictures and something caught my eye.

Is it just me, or is the stone pavers draw in the wrong perspective? They appear to be top-down instead of isometric.

I am not really seeing what you are talking about, I suppose it is mostly because it looks "normal" to me, and I have nothing to compare it to.

Well it would stand to reason since of late the art team seems to have a problem with perspective.

This was made back in 2006 for Kingdom Reborn. I actually like the ground cover, but now that I see this incorrect perspective I can't unsee. =[

i think its from mismatching the 2 client graphics.. in this case the 3d ground and the 2d building..

if you turn off legacy graphics, witch im not sure is an option anymore in the EC client.. you got a complete 3d world. this was better looking and fit the perspective...

If only...

The EC is nearly all CC graphics now, no way to change.

That ground skin if from KR and may have looked better in that client... I can't remember. sigh.

As for perspective, the art team has failed on that rather simple aspect for years now. As evidenced by nearly all new item art the last 3 years.

The ground cover system is the same as the Kingdom Reborn client.
