Is Inscribe on the list of skills that GGS covers?

To me it sounds like a dumb question but ....

I have decided to boost my scriber and simply log the scriber on after I get my Taming GGS.

My Scriber is also my Tailor.

I do the Tailor thing and get the GGS.

I make a scroll and ... get nothing for the success. This has been the case for the last two mornings. There has not been an inscription gain on this character for probably a month. I am not at the 700 skill cap. I have the triangle pointed up for Inscription. I am at 88.7 on Inscription.

I just know I am missing some totally obvious rule of the GGS system here

Near as I can tell, GGS stopped functioning some time ago. The guaranteed part of the gain sure doesn't seem to be there anymore.

What level scroll are you making? At 88.7 I believe you need to be making Level 7 or 8 scrolls. GGS still requires you to make something that you could gain from.

Also, this type of question really needs to go the the UO Player Corner.

More people read the UO hall, at least I do. And you are right you need to have your scribe doing level 7th or 8th circle scrolls to force a gain.

30 - 55: Make 4th circle scrolls
55 - 65: Make 5th circle scrolls
65 - 85: Make 6th circle scrolls
85 - 94: Make 7th circle scrolls
94 - 100: Make 8th circle scrolls
