Is GM Anatomy and 120 Eval still broken?

I wasn't sure which section to really post this in but about a year ago I checked the forums and the old thread I read (cant seem to locate it, it was on the old forums) people didn't seem to think it worked as well as having just 120 in a combat skill (wrestling).

So what i'm wondering is if GM anatomy and 120 Eval are equivilent to having 120 combat skill or if this is infact still a *BROKEN* mechanic or if it was even intended to work this way?

Eval+anat+20/2 is the formula.
120+100+20 (240). 240/2 = 120
Yes, 120 eval and gm anat are equal to 120 evasion skill.
From what I can tell, as I have a few characters setup this way...it seems to take a while to warm up to act as intended. Then once warmed up it seems to go in cycles.
Call me crazy, but I get drilled for a good 10 minutes of a fight. At the 11 minute marker I can never be hit for the next 20. Then I get drilled for the next 10.

so are you saying in short fights, say if you get pop shotted by somebody or better yet *GANKED* then GM Anatomy and 120 Eval wouldn't be as good as having say 120 Wrestling because for Eval and Anatomy to really work at it's full potential it takes " a good 10 minutes of a fight" to start going in cycles? So it would only be good in very long fights, not short ones? Does 120 in say wrestling start working right off the bat vs eval and anatomy that takes roughly a good 10 mins to start? Have you tried to see if you get drilled the same way when you pickup wrestling instead of eval and anatomy?

Also what is the last +20 coming from? (120 eval + 100 anatomy + 20)

It was never broken.

People have it in their head it's not the same, however it's tried and true. It is the same defensively.

I have used for years a Int eval + anatomy Parry mage and chances to get hited are really low. So tbh dont know who told you that it was broken but he was wrong.
