What happens when a city is captured and the bell pedestal turns red. Is it too late to push the invaders out? Personally I can't kill those guards maybe we could group up somehow to retake Cove and other cities that are captured.

Once the town has been lost it cannot be won back. At least so far!

I spent a couple of hours killing the guards in Cove and nothing happend other than they respawned.
