I've been having lots of fun though. I've been checking out Atlantic and Europa. The big trammel castle on Atlantic was good, but after all the wait I only left with a pedestal! Doing much better on Europa though. Few val hammers, loads and loads of old looted weapons and jewels, various deco bits, and lots of resources. I would say on Europa I've been finding 3-5 new ones per day. It's such a job keeping up with them all.

Well DJAD my second to last RTB is decaying..its like to the west of my castle in tram [RAA Shop] ...but on the felluca side....a empty looking 1818 with a statue on it?? well it is empty so dont waste time there either ....

But as a indicator thats the 8th of my 9 RTBs in decay now...these were spread over 4 shards...so it looks like things are definate slowing down....and please dont moan about me having 9 RTBs.....nobody asked for them to get bugged... it just happened... and we got stuck with them.

It's a pretty ugly place. I can see why people won't want to live there now Tram is more accessible to placing now. Are a few nice areas, but they're all taken mostly.

That's because there are a few guilds that use the 3rd party scripts to loot, ergo you see nothing after a fall at a public Atlantic IDOC. I'd love to see them all permanent banned, but the powers that be seem to just let it happen. Sad really that these scripters exist, but many more join them as they watch them utilize this unfair advantage with no repercussions. I quit doing IDOC's on Atlantic for the most part because of this rampant abuse of game mechZnics. Shoot, I just about quit the game in full, but Mesanna showed me that they do in fact care, and are taking steps. However, it's not happening fast enough in my humble opinion. Wish they would say or do something soon.

On europa it really does loook baron...there are snow caves and desert oasis that hold 4-5-6 18x18s thats are void....the tumbling grass stretches to the horizons...unplaced .....

I would like to ask to refresh yourselves ...is this what u really wanted???? ... many warned that over 50% of housing was bugged..well it seems even more so...seems u guys/gals are getting a lil more than ya wished for......

Baron Wasteland sounds like a cool title in-game; perhaps something Exodus could give out.

I am still enjoying the rewards of it... I placed a Keep a week or so ago..... now it's a castle.

Can't complain much save the fact that the ones I WANT to fall aren't.

But oh well...... life goes on. Enjoyed quite a few IDOCs got another 500k in turn in points easy enough..... still sorting spoils.

Just sad to see so many houses fall but then I keep reminding myself that no one has really played those accounts in years... so I should just be glad to have the homes gone.

Though GL's is trading a few eyesores for new eyesores.... Ugh.

Well, at least "my" RTB houses were used at least and not a memorial for the glorious past only.
Finally the wave of destruction has gotten all these houses on all shards, which I or friends placed.
Red homeless ladies roaming Felucca, characters loaded to their carriage and bank box limit and hence unplayable, lost guild houses, well for me this was not so lucky.

And it feels, the spawn of Reapers and Gargoyles has increased in some areas, someoone told me, that on Dragon isle where he had an entire RTB village, which was famous and an attraction on Drachenfels, dragons are spawning (again)? (Well, no dragons today ...)

I found a burning house with the scarecrow named "Effigy of a Traitor" on Atlantic. Pretty sure it's fairly new since I went by that spot couple weeks ago IDOC hunting. So maybe they are banning some people or found a house of dupes possibly. Just have to remember EA wasnt making any money off these old houses anyway. Paying players might as well have more spots to choose from. Happy Hunting!

I've been getting far more luck from looting boats. Tons and tons (literally) of cannon resources, wood, ingots and all kinds of stuff. Takes loads of trips to clear a loaded boat. It's crazy the amount of people who don't lock their cargo holds!

I tested a runebook with some old shop runes today.
Almost each of the shops did not exist any more and in most cases in range of 2 screens from each position was a house in various states of decay.

Well I'm still picking up some nice decos and mostly clean-up points. Not making any money off any of this, but it's just one more thing you can do in UO. When you get bored, go do something else. Though I do wonder when this will come to an end. Judging from all the apparently abandoned homes still not-decaying on Catskills, I'm guessing not for awhile.

The more-obvious ones, like those in and around the City of Luna, mostly were cleansed.

The less-obvious ones have just stood there.

The house I placed...one of the last spots in Luna...when Origin first came up....I owned it for quite some time and when I left gave it to a friend. It has obviously changed hands a few times but it is now OSI pending....I would give up my fel castle to have that spot back...just for the memories of how I got it in the first place.

Rushing to log in all my chars to collect the 1k gold..giving it to one person...taming and selling horses for 100g each and killing orcs to scrape together enough to place....that house holds great memories for me and it's sad to see it falling.

On the other hand...even though alot of houses are gone or soon will be....it's nice to see the lands open up a bit. I can actually run around near deceit without going around 42 castles and keeps...it's a tad bit empty....but at least it doesn't look like a subdivision everywhere I go....at least on Origin anyway lol. Hate to see houses jam packed together with little room to even wedge between them.

Nope, I'm seeing new houses start to decay on LS as recently as four hours ago.

I don´t wanna think about what will happend in Phase 2 - some shards will be wastelands... But I know, they have already been...

Nothing is changing really - there's still (pretty much) the same number of active players as there was a couple of weeks back when all this started. Housing is just catching up to the playerbase.

And it's not all bad... at practically all (read 8 out of 10) of the drops I've seen, there's been new houses placed within 72 hours. ( I was at a drop in Tokuno on the far west side of Makota-Jima at 11AM yesterday, and by 3PM a new plot had already been placed.) The exceptions have all been either Malas, remote Tram locations with nasty monster spawn, or spots that will only hold a 7x7 or so.... Which leads me to think that the "small", "empty", or "just utter junk" drops I've seen may not all be RTB houses - they may be active players who have placed elsewhere. So while houses are dropping, existing players are taking the opportunity to relocate and upgrade - which is exactly how it's supposed to be. Sosaria is not a static place... it's a dynamic world, and loss and change are inherent parts of that.

anyone else???? ..i aint seen any apart from the odd house that as obvoiusly been condemed by a player placing a bigger one.....iam not seeing any of the ols been there forever ones decaying anymore....ive asked a few idocers and they say the same...however iama also assured that known RTBs still stand so i say maybe this aint finished and maybe there will be more....theres definate stil loads of unnamed no owner bugged houses that need to be deleted too...

maybe uve seen a condemed house or two....and not RTBs.....if u play atantic then yes u may see a lot of replacements....if u play the other 18 shards it looks pretty empty.....and only the luna /zento/keeps and castles are being replaced....maybe LS is a fuller shard than i thought..i will log in and have a run through malas..to see myself

I had six RtB houses and they have all fell now. First was two in decay, then a few days later another two, then earlier this week the last two began to decay.

After an avalanche of decays that started about a week ago, I have not seen an RTB one on Siege for about four days now. There are certainly plenty of bugged plots left. Of the 314 possible ones that I had in my spreadsheet at the start of all this, 187 still remain and I am quite confident that at least half of those are bugged.

Basically RETURN TO BRIT houses..[RTB].........was a spate it time were the come back to britainia promotion allowed players to reopen accounts ...any amount they had...be it 2-3 or 20......all free of charge...to come back and try UO again... well lots of players returned...lots of players that were playing still reopened old accounts anyways...posiblily checking what they had in bankboxes/skills etc etc... at this time u could also place houses on these ''free accounts''... sooooo many many many many many houses were placed......people had houses on a half dozen shards etc etc.....HOWEVER EVERYONE EXPECTED them to fall after the normal 90 day fall rule......well they never did fall... and they stood for many years.....so the lands look full of players....

Now some of the UO population [ prob the ones that Didnt have a RTB]..... wished and plagued the devs to sort it out...''make them all fall'' .........''i aint got a extra house so why should anyone else'' they cried... they pleaded AND RIGHTY SO I GUESS!!!!.....but these same people didnt realize how many RTBs there was!!!! many years have passed and i believe that the GMs were given ''the power'' to physically check all houses on all shards and thus turn them into the decay cycle if they were not legit paid for accounts...

Hence why half the housing on all shards as fell in the last 3 weeks........[does that help]
