Should I take Int or Mana to Cusidhe? If so why?
Thanks. Was here way to remove bleed?Good afternoon Ford, When it comes to cu's a good sized mana pool is never a bad thing as they use bleed and heal a lot.. bleeds mana drain is pretty high on its own and heal takes away 15 mana per use... depending on the spec of a cu the mana pool will vary... Int and mana pool use to be lnked before pub 97.. infact many players ruined pets investing in int thinking it would increase the mana pool too when it first hit.(sadly this was not the case and many pets ende dup with 700 int and 125 mana =* [).. about a month and some change ago they released a small fix that made cu's, mares and a few of the other pets that were doing rather bad with mana flow a lot better.. basicly they are nearly tripled the passive mana reg that int gives a pet.. before the that fix.. cu's, mare and anything in the low passive mana reg family pretty much would blow its mana pool.. then do nothing but melee attacks for like 30-45 sec then maybe do a spell or special move... back then mana gave about 3-4 mana reg for every 500 int... but after the change 500 int gives about 11-12 mana reg now.. .. I;ve broken it down to basicly the starting int of most pets is 125 which is passively 2.5ish manareg but the game round it up to 3ish mana reg... It aslo provides a small increase to spell power...but this increase is soooooo small that is doesn;t over take the pure damage you get from investing in max str and dex/stam.. so normally its best to just leave a pets int at its birth lvls... a cu for instances normal birth int is around 280ish.... which is roughly about 6-7extra mana reg added to its pool passively... the lowest I mapped the mana regen too is 60 int which the game seems to see as 1.2ish mana reg and round it down to 1 mana reg .. or 30 which is alittle over half a point of mana reg which the game tends to round up too.. but hope this helps mate.. figured I would break down the math of it abit more for peeps.. =^-^=
P.s. I did a few tests cus with max lower stats caps ..some 678,150,500.. for max mana reg without losing to much melee damage.. and some 700 150 370 for the extra 2-3 mana reg... in most test I found the extra 100 points I spent on int was better used on 200 more mana pool.. but if ya need a place to invest points just to move on to the next lvl this is not a bad option..really just depends on your play style and the build of the cu...sometimes 2-3 extra mana reg comes in handy... =^-^=
