Install fails on new Win7 computer

Hi all,

I'm trying to install the UO Classic client on a brand new computer and it fails at a certain point duing the client patch. Also I downloaded the client from UO.com.

It says the following:

Error during session
Your client may not be the most recent version.
You may be able to play the game with your current client.
Check http://www.uo.com/ for help on resolving patching issues.
Click OK to play the game or Cancel to abort.

I cant click ok because it is grayed out, I can only click cancel and when I do the client closes.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

try right clicking the icon and select run as admin...i was having that same issue while installing it with vista..didnt have a problem with windows 7 though...but try that anyhow...

Trying that now, it looks like that may have resolved it. Thanks

Remember also any program UOA, UOAM, Etc has to be set to Admin also to work correctly if I am not mistaken. Does on my Vista at home anyways.

good to hear! and glad to help! and like Snakeman said! if you find anything related to UO having issues! try the run as Admin!
