Anyone having trouble scribing magery scrolls?
My GM scribe gets the message you don't have the components needed to make that. When I do have them all.

I soul stoned the skill over night didnt help killed the character off didnt help sent in a bug report. This character doesnt see the light of day til I log on it to make scrolls.

You don't have a magery book with the spell in it. You need the spell you're scribing in a book in order to scribe from it. I think you can do it with just a scroll of the spell too, not sure, but book def works. No book, no scribe.

the thing you need to inscribe a scroll are:
1. a spellbook of the right type, ie magery, mysticsim, etc.
2. blank scrolls.
3. inscribing pen
4. Proper reagents for the spell (having a full LRC suit will not let you inscribe)
5. proper skill to cast the spell.
6 last but not least Inscription skill.
I sometimes forget to get the right spellbook or reagents.

I didnt think of that I had spellbooks on him. I logged in to check the books all empty, and his full spellbook is missing off him. I placed a full one on him now he is fixed. thank you

I was missing the spellbook which should of been on him to begin with. I dont even remember taking it off him. I only log on him to make scrolls when I need them.

Took me forever to figure out what happened when i took a full spellbook of my scribe a couple years ago

Same here - they should really change that message into one that actually says what you're missing.

5. proper skill to cast the spell.

You no longer need to be able to cast the spell. This was changed a long time ago. You can scribe scrolls with no skill in that casting skill.

ahhh lol i was trying to make mystic scrolls with my scribe and I too was getting that message. Now I get it lol thx.

Well I know one thing making gate scrolls suck up to much mana 5 gate scrolls waits for mana to fill back up another 5 gate scrolls. All be here forever !!!! I thought make recalls were bad. Curses to who ever thought of using gate scrolls to charged teleporting tiles.
