[Treasure Hunting] Ingenious maps I bought

I recently bought over 100 ingenious maps from a friend. I've been through about 10-15 of them and have not seen any forged pardons which is the most I've been through without getting any pardons. I'm still getting mana phasing orbs, Essence, tasty treats, skeleton keys, and scrolls of transcendence.

Am I just having bad luck or could the maps be bugged or something? I remember something about maps that were received before the big tmap publish but can't remember what it was and was thinking maybe this was the case? None of them were decoded, I'm decoding as I go along.

I just did 21 level 6 without a pardon....and what makes it worse at 100 lockpicking having the gas escaping thing go 3-4 times with normal picks or skeleton keys. And then only too see it destroyed one of the items in the top of the chest where the good stuff is at, probably the pardon.
