In my Warrior template still viable?

With the introduction of masteries, I am left wandering if the warrior template I'm training is still good to go or if I should change something. It's a PVM template from @CorwinXX named "5.3.1. Classic warrior".

I don't have a lot of time to play so instead of testing around I'd like to know your opinion if possible. Especially @CorwinXX who helped me with my last template.

Please keep in mind that I don't have a lot of money, so I can't really afford expensive equipment.
My SSI is coming from jewels and a shield right now, so I have 10 in each, 30 total. I was offered some excellent swords with slayer types and 87% HLL, 87% ML, 50% SL, 25% DI, barely have to heal...depending on what I'm hunting.

Right now I am aiming for:
Chivalry 95
Anatomy 120
Healing 120 (I'd like to keep this and not go Sampire)
Parrying 60 (with jewelry for the blocking...problem is as I understand for it to work you need 2 handed weapon and I'm always using a shield for extra mods...)
Swordsmanship 120
Tactics 100 (maybe 110 with jewelry - should I get it to 120 real skill? and get 60 Parry with Jewelry?)
Bushido 120

Thanks for the help!

1H w bush and parry is a waste. You block nothing, and still since your WS + Bush + parry isn't 300 natural you don't even get the bonus -5 mana on specials.

If you are going 1H and shield, I'd not use bushido, except in the rare case you need to kill something that has no slayer.

Actually... that works pretty well if you have an uber non antique shield full of mods and want it to last forever, run 120 bushido, 60 parry and a shield. You will almost never parry any attack with such build. And that can be a good thing.
I have one that I have been using thoroughly for over one year and it is still at 254/255. I do several spawns and kill hundreds of balrons with that dexxer every week. :p

Regarding the 300 points, it doesn't have to be natural skill. Skill points coming from items count towards it, so he is getting the full benefit from it.
For an example, the +5 archery from the despicable quiver also counts towards that. I use that on my macer, running 120 mace, 115 bushido and 60 parry (could switch to 120 bushido and 55 parry, but I am too lazy for that) and I get the full -10 points in mana cost with that build.

Well for now I have a sword and shield because I can't make or afford to buy proper 2H weapons. They will come in time.
The main question here is if did the masteries make some of these skills unnecessary?

What do you wanna hunt?

The "classic" samurari is a fun template :)
120 weapon
100 bush
100 parry
120 tact
100 ana
100 healing
080 chiv

Its possible to solo medusa on a template like this :)

Thats pretty much the same template I run. I've not changed mine for years but maybe its time to mix things up a bit. I do use necro instead of healing with mine though.

I was using double axes and longswords but after reading the above I think I will swap back to bladed staffs for my AI weapon.

From the top of my head my template is:

120 swords
120 tactics (10 on talisman)
120 anat
120 bush
100 necro
85 chiv
60 parry

Well, basically I want a well rounded template that can allow me to hunt pretty much anything.
I am told Sampire is the cheapest option actually, but now that I already invested in several 120 PS (Swords, Bushido, Anatomy, Healing) I feel like it will be a waste to not use the skills (I already ate all the scrolls).

Right now I'm using Sword and Shield, because it's the best I have. The shield has 10 SSI and soe more mods you see. In time I hope to be able get my hands on several axes or other 2H weapons that can allow me to ditch the shield. They'll have to be one for each type of slayer with high HLL, HML, DI, maybe SSI, etc...I'm sure they will cost me veeeeeery, very much, but this is a long term project.

I got this template from @CorwinXX

Classic Warrior Template

5.3.1. Classic warrior

Core (685 skill points):
Weapon 120
Tactics 100
Bushido 120
Parrying 60
Anatomy 100
Healing 90
Chivalry 95

If you want more offense you get 120 Tactics/Anatomy. If you want more defense you get more Parrying/Healing. High-end suit could include two sets of jewels: one with 20 Tactics, 20 Anatomy and another with 30 Parrying 10 Healing so you can chose between offense and defense depending on situation.

With this template is better to use a 2H weapon with SSI and reforged HML (other mods are Super Slayer, HSL and DI).

The main drawback of this template is low healing rate. 36-60 per bandage is about 10 hps (hp per second). With 120 Healing/Anatomy and enchanted bandages you heal just 20% more (45-73 per bandage). You heal even less when taking heavy damage (27+ ???), cursed (DEX), poisoned. You can't heal when Mortal Stroked.
Another drawback is absence of Resisting Spells. High level curses and mana drain greatly reduce your damage. And there is no skill to replace with Resisting Spells.

The main advantage of this template is that you can heal when you are stunned, are running, haven't mana. Also you needn't good high damage to survive.
Template drawbacks are compensated by ability to run away and heal.

This is pretty good and versatile template. You can do well against any kind of monsters. I suggest this template to all new players. Start with 50 Healing, 50 Chivalry, 20 Bushido and after completing New Player Quests you will be able to farm pretty well.

Example (735 skill points):
Weapon 120
Tactics 100
Bushido 120
Parrying 60
Anatomy 120 (more healing, more damage)
Healing 120 (to don't worry much about being poisoned)
Chivalry 95
