Is thre anyway to add magic resist to a peice?

nope not that i have seen only jewels like ring or bracelet i think

You can only imbue a property that could/would normally be found on the item. Magic resist is not an item normally found on armour, and I'm not sure that is one of the skills that can be imbued on jewerly.

you can imbu it on rings and bracelets atleast it shows in my imbuing list I have not done it cause its a waste for my character!
