If you have a house and plan on making your own soul forge, then no reason to stretch a Crafter's tight template even more. The "real" crafter/s can drop all the runic make goodies in chests next to your home SF and Imbuer can imbue then unravel them...
In my 7th slot I am making a new Gargoyle char with 50 Imbue and 50 Mystic. I will soulstone the Mystic skill and upload GM Item ID to Garg Imbuer, then outfit with a scroll loaded rune book to get back and forth from Queens SF and home. Once I GM Imbue, then I'll add Magery skill and Focus (flying) and some skills that woul complement a roleplay gargoyle.
My Imbuer is a "townie" only - Queen's court and home, and Luna banksitting (if and when he ever hits 120 skill!). The Item ID skill just allows me to fill a salvage bag w/o having to do any "maths" on what I'll get, and if It's turns out to be useless skill, ill stick it on soulstone frag ...
**Also, by making a "new" garg Imbuer, I can also sell the Promo human2gargoyle tokens **
