Talismen which give up to 20% higher success chance at an imbue, and only appear as a rare reward (like runic mallets) from the 3 gargoyle powerscroll questgivers in the Royal City. People burn their runic hammers and kits to make residue, enchanted essence etc which may lead to more people doing BODs so they can collect runics. Thoughts?

they have that forged tool for that, which is difficult to get as it is.

The forged tool us only good to guarentee the enhancement of an item and does nothing for imbuing. I guess you can call the queens forge and being a gargoyle your stand-in sucess increase in loo of a talisman.

imbuing will get you better items than almost anything in the game (says messanna), it's Supposed to be hard. personally, I find imbuing a cruel joke

I fail to see the point, but would gladly use one. If you plan out your imbuing attempts you can drastically minimize the cost of failures.

While part of me (the part tied to my bank account) likes the idea....

Given the power of imbuing.... it should be hard.... there should be a risk... it's not like you are losing the 'rare' ingredient.

Part of me is starting to think that Imbuing should have stayed like it's original proposal- where the 'rare' drops were from the Peerless.

In reality imbuing is a 100% completion rate, nothing fails to be made in the end. If you are really hurting with the cash to make a item then you need to farm for a hour.

They show at least correct the Imbuing percent chance numbers the skill window displays. I imbue stuff quite often and the window showing a 30% chance for success means 10 to 15 imbuing attempts as a routine thing to get the imbue to take.

A little better than a one in four chance for successfully doing the imbue? Yeah... right. rolleyes:
