Imbuing question

Why can't spell books be imbued?
I dunno if I've ever seen this discussed and I asked a couple people why but they said they didn't know. Since books can have mods, I don't see why we can't imbue them to have the ones we want... Thoughts or reasonings?

i'd rather see the scribe chance to produce a good modded spellbook be increased. I know guys that have burnt through 300,000 scrolls and not gotten a repond slayer.

Scribes are crafters after all. Smith's have prospered from rising fort powder prices and tailors from higher cbd prices, yet no love for the introverted scribe.

Personally I would like to alter my spell books with imbuing. Not sure why we can't but suspect it may have to do with pvp.

I like this idea as well but would they all become un-blessed and have random durability when crafted and then we would have to add POF to them before imbued ?

They could easily allow for the blessed/no durability to stay, simply have it take up 200 intensity and 2 mods already, which means you can only imbue 300 intensity and 3 mods. (aka the same as you can get right now on spellbooks)

I think I would rather have 5 open mods to choose from and have to POF it b4 imbuing it just me tho either way I agree if the devs feel it would cause an imbalance then I would still love to have 3 mods and blessed
