Imbuing knowing the chances in advanced

Anyway to calculate in advanced in an item has a chance to unravel into?\

there're several ways, item I.D skill(not sure if that works correctly). you can add up the mods(leeches are the only prob with this). or check item by bringing up imbuing menu(a garg at the queens forge would need 401 intensity or better to get a relic). also i believe there are some client add on mods that will do this for you, not sure never used myself.

if you have a 401+ item, garg, at queens forge..

does it matter what your imbuing skill is, as long as it is 95.1 (minimum to unravel a relic)? or do you need to be 120?

as far as i can recall(been awhile), imbuing skill doesn't affect whether something will turn into relic(as long as you have minimum needed)..

However not sure if skill has any affect on chance to get extra relics or not

umm 401? whats the rules on ring/brace i have done loads of them over 401 and ended up with essence or it only a chance that it will be a relic? Not complaining as i needed the clear out.
also what artifacts dont give relics? i have noticed a few lvl 11 artis only give essence also the vorpal blade.

With a Gargoyle, unravelling at the Queen's Soul Forge, the total intensity of the item has to be at least 401%, to give relic fragment(s). With a human or elf, the item intensity has to be more (451%+, I think). The total intensity needed for Enchanted Essence is 200%+, less than that will give a Magical Residue (I don't know the specifics for gargoyle and human/elf intensities, as items of this quality are easy to find).

If you are unravelling Imbued items, there is something inplace to consider them lower quality than they show (the total intensity is fractioned, for the purposes of unravelling). This was done to prevent Relic Fragment crafting, from Imbuing alone.
