[Imbuing] Imbuing armour help

Hi all, I need gloves and arms with total resists

23/49/22/48/25

But would also like a mix of stam inc, hp inc, stam regen and lmc.

How many mods out of the 5 for each item would be needed to imbue some gloves and arms with the above resists, 2, 3?

Would it be possible to imbue something like
Gloves
8 stam inc
8 hp inc
3 stam regen

I haven't played with imbuing much, so I'm not sure whats possible and what isn't.

You can usually imbue up to 17 or 18 a resist, not beyond that. I think you can imbue then enhance and get higher, but there's breakage issues of course.

Does imbuing a resist add to or replace what is already there?

It replaces bonus resists from beeing exceptional (including armslore) and material bonus. (If the tiem was made out of special material before imbuing.)

I haven't played with imbuing much, so I'm not sure whats possible and what isn't.

Max for each armour piece on imbuing is:
17 19 18 18 18

That is using the base resist of leather which is 2 4 3 3 3. You can only add +15 to that, no matter if its made of special leather or not. Enhancing with horned would give + 2 3 2 2 2 and enhancing with barbed would give 2 1 2 3 4

So, it`s not possible with imbuing + enhancing to get the resists that high. You could try using a horned or barbed kit of course and hope that if the runic bonus rolls on the resist you want, it also gives you a mod you want

3 + 15 + 8 = 26

Base + Imbue + Bloodwood = Poison Resist
3 + 15 + 3 = 21

factor in arms lore for +16 more resists (it will take time to craft the perfect piece, i made over 100 leather gloves to get the resists correct before imbuing and enhancing to get mine)

this puts you 26 resist points away (making an all 65's and one 64 resist suit)

so you could come close with only 2 imbue'd resists, and make it with 3... if its for a mage, you would need mage armor which will take up one property slot
