Imbuing - a few questions

I have a few questions about Imbuing and Enhancing after Imbuing.

If i imbue a wood part, with Hit Point Regenartion 2 and enhace it with Bloodwood i got no bonus from it. If i craft with a runic saw i got a bonus.

Another thing is if i imbue a weapon with Swing Speed Increase 30 and enhance it with Ash, i got a bonus from 10, it is now 40.

Another example if i imbue 50 Life Leech on a weapon and enhace it with bloodwood, i got a bonus of 2 Hit Point Regenartion, but no Life Leech bonus, maybe here the swing speed cap caused that, but i dont know?

Why are these differences?

You answered your own question. Caps.
There is no cap with hp regen 4 on wood, i have crafted it with a runic saw before without any problems?

Another thing is here, why should SSI 45 on bows be possible and HPR 4 not. HPR has a hard cap at 18, SSI has no cap!

Bows are slower but make more damage and that is okay but making them as fast as a normal weapon and strong as a helebard is too much i would say.

Runics can exceed the caps.....Technically, if you are making an item with ash and use a runic you can essentially exceed the cap, get 100 intensity from the runic + the bonus from the wood. Imbuing does not let you do this, neither does enhancing (try making items with a runic with normal wood to get a 100 intensity then enhancing it, will do nothing)

Edit: forgot to mention that the actually cap on SSI is not 30, it is like 50 (? or 40 maybe?) but 30 is max intensity.

The cap for a char is 60ssi, the best item that can be crafted, imbued then enhanced is 40ssi. Bows and weapons at 45 and 50 ssi are invasion weapons that can be imbued now. Enhancing with bloodwood and heartwood on imbued items got nerfed a few patches ago. It was possible to imbue hpregen 1 then bloodwood would stack to hpregen 3, and 1 or 2 of the random heartwood mods wont enhance on imbued items. Its still one of the best ways to make a 80-90+ armor piece with a mod or two and one of the few ways I know to make relic frags from just imbues with residue. They both can enhance an imbued item to over 700 imbue weight so the breakage factor is high.
