Imagine a UO where, when Juo'Nar died, his dehydrated and spiced Liche corpse fell into pieces spread out on the ground. And imagine players could pick them up and keep them. And imagine that there was a way to put those pieces back together and bring Juo'Nar back.
Now imagine the good guy players hiding the pieces they have to prevent his return, while the bad guys are out looking for them and stealing what they can, while the good guys are doing the same to keep Juo'Nar from returning to the lands of Sosaria.
Imagine houses locked against intrusion, guarded by players and by magic, secretly hiding parts of Juo'Nar. Players playing shuffle games to keep other players from knowing where the pieces are. Spies, thieves, murderers, but with a purpose. Guards, secret safe houses, intelligence services, priestly magic and evil mage magic at work trying to win the battle of Juo'Nar's parts. And rewards for both sides for accomplishing their aims, of course.
