Italian ehh? You must be lacking "famillia" to have a meal and argue across the table with. Oh, trust me, I know! I worked for an Itallian family for 3 years and none of them we complete each day until the hands were flying in the air across the dinner table next to the kitchen.
It was no act. They were from the Isle of Capris. I think the customers came just for the show.
Yet, I cannot imagine anyone being bored with UO. I have so many things to do after 10 years, it is difficult to keep up with.

if you play in KR, you CAN´T be bored
disapearing hotbars here and there
crashes,at those moments you realy don´t need a crash
rubberbanding lag around the champ altars
items you cant move,you see them but they are untouchable
and so on, so in kr you have always something that entertain you

Pick a really underused or odd template and start working on it. Cooking is fun, or begging, herding is really good fun if you add in stealth...
You could start growing and breeding some plants.
Redecorate/redesign a new house.
Go look for IDOC houses and do a few. I like to do a few every now and again for a bit of a surprise. Some of the items you get can give you ideas for decorating a house, or you might make a friend by trying to return belongings to someone.
Maybe put the word out that you're looking for some Italian players too, see if you can find a new group to hang around with.

Once built myself a luna house log cabin outta logs, quarterstaves and bedrolls (for the roof) granted it's pretty difficult to do, but it's a lot cheaper than buying a luna house
Other than that, I'd suggest building a type of character that you've never played before, if you don't like it, scrap her, but it's usually enough to entertain yourself for a day.
If you like decorating houses make a new one... if you're bored of all the usual designs, make something crazy. My last design was a 3 story gold mine that was taken over by orcs and lizardmen. Took about 800 rocks to build the place, and i even had a rail-way for the mine cart and an ore elevator.

I think often times folk get bored because they set strange goals for themselves......
I have several goals in game that keep me very busy......
I want to GM every skill in the game at least once..... (still working on this)
I would eventually like to make a fully skilled character on every shard.... at least one.... though if I play long enough.... (so far at least 8 years under my belt) I want to have at least a fully trained mage, dexer, and tamer on every shard..... just in case....
I love to deco and design so often if I'm "bored"..... I'll completely redo one of my plots....
I like to just travel all over the shard running around looking at IDOC's, Empty potential plots, and check out the house designs of others....
I love RP so sometimes I hop on my begger I've been working on the last four years and just head to the bank and start plying my trade..... acting as a good beggar should... Or sometimes I sneak about on other characters randomly RPing with people..... I even went to another shard once and just started speaking nothing but pure Drow just to see what folk thought.... was the best time I ever had..... It was quite entertaining when people where thinking I was speaking anything from german to Russian...... It took a good hour before someone figured I was speaking Drow..... And then one woman actually spent quite a while RPing with me trying to "teach" me english/common..... had the time of my life....
I doubt I'll ever finish my goals before either I die or UO no longer exists.... but I can say I'll have a good time trying...

If you're bored while playing UO you're doing something wrong.
Ivory, if you are really yourself when you play UO, you should not be bored.
Someone, in UO teached me that a long time ago ; he told me that "nothing was ridiculous" and from that day, I started to accomplish what I really wanted.
Maybe you just need a small break? We all need it sometimes...
