I'm back, now what?

I played TSO when it launched a few years back, but it has been a good 3+ years since I have played. Not sure what all may be different.

I was looking for suggestions of which city to create a character on, and just some general information / tidbits of things that may be valuable to know when I first step foot into Sim land once again after my download is complete!

First off, are you doing a paid subscription or a trial?

If you are doing a trial, then you will have to create in TC3/TC. If you are on a paid account and do not wish to subjected to the 'trial' atmosphere, you can select any of the other cities. BF/AV show the most lights on the map, but honestly there are just a few of their houses that actually have a lot of skill speed in them. So really it's your call.

You have 3 slots for production cities and I think 6 for TC3/TC. So you can make several sims in several cities in production and see which one you like best.

Yes, I was going to do the trial first to see what was going on.

Just finished everything, however I keep getting some error and it won't update my game so I can get in.

I created a two week free trail. I didnt want to pay to bring back my old founder's account. If I like what I see, and if I like the changes, I will pay and resurrect my old Founder's account.
