Tancred Redstar from UOforums noticed something odd about UOLedger, as per the forum chatlog...

Tancred was right, the site doesn't appear to load and comes up with a maintanance message, but the site opens many connections to european/russian IP's when you visit it.

Looking at the sourcecode of the site, it seems to run a script which opens hidden windows to various websites hosted on russian domains, indeed, several of the sites that get automatically pulled to your browser, are blacklisted by Google and Trend micro

I would advise NOT visiting the site, at least until the owner comes here and updates us as to it's status.

Our beloved UOLedger.com has been taken by Russian hackers. It is best not to visit the website until the administrator, Asimo, is able to fix the problem.

What some one bust your poor poster and now you go on a smear campaign?

If they got hacked at least they have an excuse and can fix it. You on the other hand will be the same as always.

Of course that wont stop you from smearing away, trying do your best to remove another fan site and advertise for your squatter url.

If a popular website has been hacked, then a warning needs to be given. The issue has been confirmed.

What is not needed are attacks on another Stratics forum member as this is against our Rules of Conduct.
