Really if Ea wants us to use that ATM, all they need to do is make a few new skill items and money objects. We would be all running to the ATM to be able to buy them. Even stores would so they could sell them. Simple really, Ea would make money, the players would have something new, and the botters wouldn't be prepared to bot away on them.. lol
They could even make those items make more cash than the old ones.

Just add all the objects (as promised over and over) from Sims 1 to the catelog and they would have a major money drain.

Most of them are being uploaded now in the form of custom content. As Mrubatino says, it will be scriptable custom content that will allow those players who educate themselves on it and get good with it to create those new skill and money objects, which I agree will be a fantastic money drain. All this is coming, but it just takes time and patience on our part to make it happen. The more people hang on in hopes that things will get better, the higher the likelihood that they WILL get better. If people cut their losses and give up, that gives EA less of a budget to work with, which slows down progress until the point that the budget gets *so* low that it is just not worth their time to keep it going and they pull the plug.

Have they said whether or not with the scripted items we may be able to use to skill or make money as well?
