The entire 15x15 area is mine, right? If I place a 7x7, nobody can place another one beside mine?

Only one way to find out...

But of course it would depend on where you place the 7x7. In the center or away from the very corner would obviously mean no one would even have a chance of placing.

... so place the 15x15 and build a 7x7 on the plot. You don't have to use every square for a house, you know. Make a garden and show people how to actually make magincia pretty.

After 30 days or so after the drawing the plot becomes free for all to place on so if you place a 7x7 in a corner of your plot someone else could place a 7x7 once the plot is public...

From playing around with my plot I think what you can do is place a 7 x 7 (up to 7 x 12). Hand the Writ to a second account and place another 7 x 7. If you just did the 7 x 7 then after the month the protection of the Writ ends and you'd get a neighbor. Jhym's plan sounds best if you want to keep the whole thing. Either that or a 7 x 8 in the long direction would prevent there from being enough room.

Yep 2 7x7's can fit on one spot.

You can probably get 4 on one spot lol.

Naw, you only have the 15 x 15 to work with, so they can be side by side 7+1+7=15, but for front and back to place 4 houses you'd need the 5 tile buffer for north/south 7+5+7=19. I could see people going with 2 7 x 12 on a server like Atlantic though and selling one for big bucks.
