If I delete old character,what happens to my house?

Has anyone done this while they have a house? Not that I am necessarily going to do it, but I am am wondering how it works if I did delete the only character I had here. Does the house stay, and automatically go to the new character when made?

The house is account bound. Not name bound. You will be all right if you think it through. The bank and all you are wearing go with the delete.

Thanks for the quick replies! That's pretty much what I thought-- that the house should stay because it's attached to the account. But I wanted to be doubly sure because the thought of going down to zero characters while the house still stands is a bit nerve wracking.

I actually deleted a character on Siege and the house stood no problem for 5-6 months until a remembered to create a new character. It did take like a month for the house sign to change and show the new character name as owner.

That is possible. If the account is paid for the house is fine.

Just remember to empty your bank before you delete the char.

yup, emptying the bank I do know about, just wasn't sure about the house.
