Well not really, because the RTB homes are not going IDOC. Could be as much as 50% or even more of homes left are RTB homes. Now it will be visible for all how massive the paying customer loss exactly is..
Hell for me its visible EVERY DAY i play how many people left, my hometown Moonglow is EMPTY 24/7 i am surprise if i catch ONE person recalling in there in WEEKS and i am on average 5 hours a day around moonglow...
Personally I think everyone should stop caring so much about how many people are playing the game and just enjoy it while it's still around.![]()
If a loved one dies, surely you would rather have the loved one back, if it were possible, but they are gone.My point was not much about how many players may be playing the game, but more towards whether IDOCs should be seen as a blessing or a curse.
Personally, I see IDOCs as a curse and a negative thing because for every IDOC that I see, this means to me that there is 1 less subscription for Ultima Online.......
So, I have a hard time to understand how players who like UO, may feel happy to see an IDOC...
You can thanks these forums for that one...I was among the horde who finally gave up on UO last year when they decided against a classic shard.
Those accounts were already gone. How many more have come back to save their houses? That’s really the question. I think having folks have to pay to keep their house is a good way to keep them paying. For those that don't well they were already gone all this is having their house go down. The increased space will allow player towns to expand and new communities to form. Will it be as large player wise as it was with AOS no, but at least we can come together and build communities which may have many of us more active. Its not a sign of anything good or bad that they are being turned back on its just clearing out what is already dead and providing a boost to come back for those that wish to keep what they have.My point was not much about how many players may be playing the game, but more towards whether IDOCs should be seen as a blessing or a curse.
