Ideas wanted: Brewery

Dear friends,

With the addition of the hops plant, I want to make two changes to my little gypsy camp.

The first thing I want to do is pretty basic, adding grapes to my vines and some hops plants for a little garden (don't have a lot of room to work with).

The second is where I need some ideas. I want to make a place where I can "brew" some lovely beverages like the ale or sparkling wine. Do you have any ideas which can help me achieve this result?

i only picture big steel vats of pressured apples/hops/whatever... not sure that transforms into uo graphics very well.
maybe take some craftables and cobble together something that feels 'brewery' to you. here's a cider press i made from mill and a couple of water troths. maybe it'll give you an idea.

I have a couple of screenshots of the Kraggen-Cor Brewery on Origin. The whole town is very cool and unique and best experienced in person IMO. Here are two pics of the brewery. It's really worth seeing all of the buildings in person.

I was originally thinking along the lines of feath's idea with the flour mill, but place some grapes raised up so they look like they are in the flour grinding area. Place a purple dye tub at the bottom to appear to 'catch' the wine.

I also like the idea of the barrel taps coming out of the curved grey walls(wine cilo?) just below feath's post. I think I would make a way in there(teleporter) and place some items inside to look like either wine or beer(purple cloth/wool for wine, brown/reddish-brown cloth/wool for beer). Maybe float some grapes in the wine cilo?

The Hops could be added near the grapes for cohesion.

Miscellaneous partial barrels, water barrels/tubs, empty barrels/tubs, potion kegs. Strewn around, partially organised with some chaotic placement for a lived/worked look.

Then of course a 'tasting' area could be set up with all kinds of what ever looks to be produced there.

...and cheese...

If you decide to create this please post pic, Ni. It sounds very nice so far. Awhile back most of the town of Kraggen-Cor fell and unfortunately I don't have (or can't find) images of the original designs. The brewery was fully decorated then. I just posted to give an idea of structural design.

That picture of the brewery Flora posted has inspired me. I am going to be away for the weekend (oddly enough, working for my uncle's wine making supply shop, unloading this year's grape crop and helping crush them for his customers to use for wine), but maybe tonight I will get to play around with this idea a bit. I'd like to create a little brewery in the cellar of my house. I have been trying to figure out what to put between the stables and the smithy. I think this would be a great addition.

This actually looks like something I could reproduce in part of our Siege "keep" (custom 18x18)! I've been looking for simple deco that can be adjusted to our setting, and I'm loving this idea

If/when I actually implement, I'll quite happily share the results!

I don't know if this will help you but I just finished what I've called a Winery/Brewery. It doesn't have a grapes/hops growing area though. It can also be used as a wine/beer tasting room. Some of the barrels used are the Barrels of Barley that you can now get in SA. All the crates are labeled with the Winery name and the contents, Merlot, Chartreuse, Stout, Porter Ale for example.

I used the flour mill as a Wine press. I added a few grapes to it and put a few barrels in front of it so it would hopefully look less like a flour mill. I think overall it works pretty well esthetically. I like the vat but wish the graphic was smaller so it could be used in a small room.

The closed barrels can be found in Deceit, level 1, with the other barrels. After you run in, take your first right. They should be there. When you take it the graphic will still be there but if it hasn't been taken already you can get it.
These are a daily server up 'rare'.

Okay, where do these vats come from and how do I get one??

The vats are made up of a 6 piece set. These are part of the decorations in the primeval lich champ spawn in the abyss. As the spawn progresses, there is a chance that some of these decorations will be released and become take-able by players. It will take several trips through to get a full set.
