Ideas ,,,But would need help with

I have not been active in RP community , however I'm open for new ventures, along with a few real life friends, I have hopped around servers since my return and seen many interesting events happening ,,,,one of which I truly enjoyed was a RP night in Haven, a dinner set up like a banquet, with a wonderful player cook serving yummy foods....I understand Catskills doesn't have a lot of new players coming through Haven atm ( Would be nice to see more activity there) ....but my motto has always been ....if you build it they will come.....I know I will have support and help from a few members of DNM . I also know it would be slow at first but after a few times maybe we can get ideas for activities and new things to add to the banquet....just a silly thought,,,but it would give those curious about the role player guilds of Catskillls to gather , I know we have tavern nights, however there are some who aren't all about the drinking part or bar part of this (and I am not refering to myself haha) ......I have not yet gone to one and keep meaning to go ......love to see what its all like ....this is just an idea and as I said DNM would be willng to help set this up and we would have members there also , but would love to get more people involved, friend or foe. So as not to interrupt events that already go on in catskills a night or afternoon that isn't always used.....maybe Sunday afternoons or Tuesday nights? Or willing to hear suggestions .........and feedback.......I have a WONDERFUL COOK BTW very colorful however she looks like a Cupcake so be sure to say hi to Turner.

I know that Dramora and Gillian are working on a soup kitchen for Brit. Perhaps this can all be rolled together as a sort of public outreach to the citizens of the realm in need. This would include of course New Haven. Perhaps a sort of traveling soup kitchen that could not only provide food to those in need, but also attract some of the wealthier of the lands to donate funds, or food stuffs. Couple it with aid from crafters to help provide clothing and armor and you could have a grand time and at the same time help newer players or simply stir up more RP. I am more than willing to offer any aid needed, and I am certain our caring Yew Governor would also lend a hand in some way. Being in the shipping trade he could perhaps offer to ship some items fro free.

This could also play well into any over land trade routes that might be sued to ship the food and goods from town to town.

The idea of a gala in New Haven is a wonderful idea, and could serve to bring more awareness to the plight of the citizens.

Those sound like good ideas. I'll keep my response short and sweet for now. I'd be interested in helping you with some of these and other ideas You may have. Just give me a shout when your ready to start planning and we'll see what we can do.

I know its short notice .but if nothing is going on in Catskills next weekend would be a great starting point...maybe more a trial and error with ideas for the next one?

On the EM schedule, Sunday the 26th Govs meeting. Monday the 27th Story arc continues. All EM events start at 7 pm est.


Thom has something scheduled on the 1st. If the day you want is open just claim it, then things can be set in motion.
