Iantown Day

Here's my question. If we declared a day of the week as Iantown Day, would you come around? I am not thinking in terms of an event, though people would be welcome to start something on the spot if they wished. I am thinking more in terms of saying...yeah, I'll come around. If I am a crafter, I will pop by for a chat. If I am a farmer, I will come by as well and be around if the PKs make a run. If I am a PK, well...you know. Thieves, knights, factions, reds...all would be welcome. We have at least one ankh in town and public house teleporters going to Umbra and Brit. There would be loose afternoon/evening hours so more could participate. And with a specific day planned, folks would have an idea when to log in and know people were around.

be thinking about a good day! My work schedule changes every week so my vote is irrelevant.

Any folks whom have fishing under 60.0 or under deep water fishing skill levels are always more than welcome, anytime, to come fish at Fisherman's Wharf in Iantown.

One can fish right off the side porch, just catchin fish from Gravewater Lake in Iantown.

Should one meet their demise, for some odd peculiar reason, like a vampire bat killing ya, an Ankh of Sacrafice is over at Miranda's there in Iantown, to res anyone.

I think it's a great idea.
We could even just use the global chat to create a room labled with where everyone is gathering at that time period/day.
That way when you have your day off just declare it Iantown morning/afternoon/evening.
However for this to work people will need to know how to use chat.

It logs me in automaticly then click the chat button and check to see if a room has been created BOOM you know where at least one other person is and probabley a siege vet to help noobs too.

I stopped in last night to offer Kelmo one last chance to accept my duel and save his community from doom. I ran into Scopulous and Nightstalker instead. They must have caught word of my intentions to the viallge as they came out of the house and attacked me on sight. After a short battle Nightstalker was left defeated on the ground and Scopulous ran for the hills. I do hope he stopped before he made it to Luna.
