...to this question. but i logged on my friends account and didn't find them, i'm guessing he sold them - and i don't plan on playing OSI any longer due to the absence of my account steward.

now the question is, and i've been dying to ask this to anyone (move to OT if you want) -

what is the united states dollar?

note: googling it and wikipedia won't tell you what it really is.

i happen to have the answer if anyone would like to contest me, i am open to the challenge and i know that i am right.

if i do happen to come across my inquisitors i will reward them to the first correct answer, however do not bank on it. i believe i was drunk and i told my RL friend to go ahead and keep them, i doubt it, but it's a possibility.

Same thing all the other country's currency is paper that is suppose to be backed by raw materials like gold. But now its all borrowed its backed off a country's workforce making it when unemployment goes up and then economy crashes the worth of it goes down if it were backed by gold it wouldn't do that. Good way to control a population if you ask me. If you owe someone money they own you ak you owe banks money and the banks owe the government money hmm looks like the government owns you!

So you want to know what it is not what it IS. The dollar uses the decimal system, consisting of 100 equal cents. In another division, there are 1,000 mills or ten dimes to a dollar, or 4 quarters to a dollar. Mills are used for tax and most commonly seen when you are getting fuel! USD notes are made from cotton fiber paper! Is that what you need to know lol

The value is $1 per $1 in the US, the other factors depend on where your trying to convert to Peso's, Euro's, yen, Canadian, exc, exc. There is no real value to $1 as it varies from country to country. It mostly depends on the countries economic situation to where the $ is valued.

As defined it is the basic unit of money in the United States. Where in fact it is a worthless IOU backed by a lot of hot air from DC. It is not worth the paper it is printed on or the material it is stamped on from the time we went off the gold standard.

And as to your part of
and i know that i am right.
Well that is your right to think so, but I am sure that many others here also know they are right.

So what you think is right, may well be right to you, but I am just as right as you are and it would be impossible to prove me wrong.

Well that is a broad question.
It is basically a note to pay debt for services or goods. Like if you have a cow and you need rice and the guy with the rice needs eggs and so on instead of taking the cow down to trade for the grain then the grain for the Horse and so on tell you can get the rice you need you sell the cow for dollars and then take the dollars and buy the rice so he can buy the eggs.
As for the design and what the meaning behind it is well there are allot of conspiracy theories out there ranging from the Freemasons to the devil pick one. I chose mine up top it is a easy way to control a population if they are all indebted to the government and the government is in debt to the people.
If the people let the government fail they fail so they half to support it tell something better comes along.

in short, the US dollar is a stock note in saudi arabian oil because of a deal struck in the 70's.

reason i brought this up is because i read an interesting article in a british newspaper. as of right now, oil from the sauds can only be traded in US dollars, nothing else. OPEC is negotiating with eachother to take the dollar out and throw in six different currencies, not including our own.

if this does happen, it's possible that our dollar could be worthless.

just some food for thought. i know alot about the dollar starting from 1918 to the present, i could write an article on it but i kept it very short.
