Givin $150.00 fine because "I" was supposedly "at an uncontrollable speed" and him a warning because his inspection was out. *cough* BS!.

Keep Safe! Watch those crazy ass drivers that don't look out for motorcyclist besides seeing them before it's to late.

Yes, it's totaled(hard to see all the damage) because insurance company blamed the accident on me which was BS because he turned into me and hit me while i was driving the speed limit and he turned in front of me causing me to slam on my breaks and slide into his back right bumper doing 60mph.

In the end i got the ticket off my record. Still not worth the bike that is wrecked and don't feel like spending my money in fixing it at this time, so it sits in a garage.

Ouch!!! I've only wrecked once... on my old Virago 535. Didnt hit anybody luckly though, just came flying around a corner, right before a light, the sun was right in my eyes the light clicked yellow and i locked my breaks up and layed her down. Rookie mistake but thats was a longgg time ago. hehe

i had a suzuki Volusia 800 at first and there is countless amount of times i had people just turn right in front of me and had to skid off to the other side of the road to miss them. One time leaving Arch Angel's house i had that big ******* literaly sliding side ways because another guy again didn't look and was pulling in his drive way to his house, but that time was lucky enough to not hit him.

I think i just got bad luck with motorcycles, not because of my driving but because of people not watch out for us. There has been, that i can count of, off the top of my head at least 4 people within 2 months time pulled out in front of me and not looking first.

Anyways, be safe and watch out for those crazy motorists.

Dont sweat it. I've actually got 22k miles on this one... I owned a R1 for several years and only just recently sold it due to financial squeezes. I had 9k miles on that bike. I actually already reallllyyy miss it. Luckly used sportbikes are pretty cheap. I'll prob pickup a little smaller one next time around a R6, or CBR600.

edit: by the way got that bike for a steal, from a guy much like you describe, lol. He put thousands into it and only had a couple thousand miles on it.

I only owned a car for 1 year, from age 16-17. hahaha. Got my first bike, a TW200 (which I still have!) when I was 17, and I've never looked back.

PS: The garage floor is nice huh? Just painted/sealed about a month ago. It used to look like crap. Nice because its easily sprayed out now with a pressure washer and dirt and junk just blends right in.

I have been wanting to seal mine, but I'm renting and have no idea when we will have to move on to the next base.
