I need info about armor and weapon changes

I tryed to PvP yesterday and I can see I need better armor and maybe a better weapon.

I know very little about the 2 last updates, the sea and the rustic pack.
Also I know nothing about the changes to the dungeons,

How did it effect crafting? Can I craft a useful female suit now?
Are there new bows?
Are there other new stuff, that will let me heal better or resist better?

I'm total lost.

Also did the new dungeon stuff help the balance for faction vs craftet/looted items.

I know I'm to old to be much of a PvP'er but I feel very weak now.

Any advices would be welcome.

Shame creatures can drop some interesting stuff, especially jewelry.

Also, re-forging along with imbuing looks interesting. Can for example add HCI or Mana regen 3 to crafted leather parts.

goes way higher than 3, MR goes up to about 9 now, hci and dci go to about 25. Most stuff seems to go to about 2-3 times what the imbue cap is. Faction stuff still has a decent edge in some slots though, and of course always the benefit of being cheaper than anything comparable by far.

True but I meant clean single mods. I could´ve been clearer.

I´ve been using spined kits to get single mods and when I´ve gotten Mana regen it´s never been above 3 for me.

I guess if you want 9 you need high-end runics but don´t you then risk getting multiple unwanted mods?

you can get it up to 5 with spined runics, but only if you allow it to be brittle, just dont turn on exhalted and it makes the first mod slightly more powerful.

If you dont mind wasting a slot for mage armor, it's actually easier to force the mods you want with smith runics, as you can choose a hammer for exactly what your'e going for.

The loot in Shame is apparently bugged at the moment. The tougher levels aren't dropping the correct intensity (even with luck suit). Looks like it won't be fixed till Pub 75.

Weak? hmm... you need to bite someone!
Shame and Wrong is your hunting grounds for items and ... blood.
Yeah, you can even find me there ... *shivers* ... unless I see you first.

There are some nice rings, bracelets, and *cursed* weapon to be had...
I find some pieces of armour (mostly leather) useful.

Thanks, I see I need to try out this re-forging, maybe I at last will find a use for all my low level runic hammers.
