I need help

I play in the 2-D client. Last Saturday night while fighting some monsters in the Abyss, the mosters after they are killed they remained in standing positions in funny poses. If I drag the monster I get a blank bar, but if I use crt-shift I see a different bar which is their corps. After a while, that standiing dead monster goes away.

this becomes frustrating because if I am in a champ spawn doing massive killing I see bodies everywhere standing eventhough they are dead and its hard to tell which one is still alive.

Has anyone ran across this problem yet? if so is there a way to fix it?

Same thing happened to me. Called GM. No help. I reinstalled the client and now no more problems. Try that it should help

Which settings Manticore? Your desktop layout and icons should, in theory, survive a reinstall, since they are now stored in your 'My Documents' and not in the UO client folder.... so I think you should, with a bit of luck, not need to do much after a reinstall.

But if there's any other way than reinstall, please try that first - if nothing else, it's a long wait downloading and patching!

Actually, it took less that 5 minutes to downlad. All my macros remained. It was painless and worth the time. Took me less that 15 min to download and start playing again.

o in that case i will give it a try. I've never reinstalled UO before so was kinda stressed about it. Thanks all.

Manticore, do NOT bother reinstalling. This is not a probelm with your installation. It happened to alot of people on different shards. There is something else causing this. Mine went away after I rebooted my PC.

I'd be willing to bet the chap that reinstalled also did a reboot at some point.
