I've been killing Miasma's and doing strongbox quests trying to get something even half as good.

Man that is one crazy ornate ^.^

These are my sampire weapon collection

Note the one in the red box, that is the one I use.
Even without DI it works great and only thing I believe can improve on it
is having it at 30 ssi and 15 dci.

And also The scimitar is my second favorite, for some reason I do better
using the scimitar against para barlon I don't run at all when using that one.

whats the deal here? I have an ornate axe which has 25% ssi but even with that its real slow

the stats look like this:

Demon Slayer
Spell Chan
Mage Weap -27
FC -1
Hit Mana Leech 52
SSI 25

Btw, this is a fun weapon, mad damage in doom against most of the bosses and nice mana leech with that

But with a slightly sliggish swing speed

Is this acceptable?

Here's my Ornate:

30 ssi
13 Phys resist
38 HLD (68 with Mace & Shield)
50 Hit mana leech
44 Hit Stamina leech

Perfect for my char with 57 phys resist, boosts me right up to 70 and 95 DI on my suit.

while HLD is capped

the HLD have a chance to land for each of the item with that property per swing

Obvouisly 30 is ideal on metal weps, but check your dex as well. Stamina bonus functions in increments of 30...so if you are at like 119 its worth your while to figure out how to get 1 more dex to take 1 more tic off the swing....and ideally bump it to 150 .

Using the formula on UOstuff i come up with: (14 (3.5x4 base speed x 4)) -7 (150/30 stam bonus)*(100/(100+30(SSI))= (7)/(100/130)=5.4 tics (tic/4 = seconds) or 1.5 sec
