I Hope the Graverobbers are gonna last at least 4 weeks!!!

Just to give normal folk that play a hor a day chance to rack the 200 kills up for a statue of each juka and meer

prob kill 9-10 a day in a hour so its gonna take a few weeks....just make sure they are around long enough....LOL...id be very unhappy getting stuck with 4500 points....

maybe there will have to be a buy points with gold for this end senario???

Just logged onto TC and the chests for the turn in of Heirlooms seem to be missing. I hope this is either an oversight or they moved the chest to another encampment area as the story arc increases. I would doubt the higher ups would make this part of the event for such a short duration.

There is a quest to get into the area where the grave robbers are. No quest = no access. It's the one that starts with killing the Purifying Blood Elementals.

Seems odd they want to shut down this part of the event so fast. But then it didn't get a very warm reception. I personally think it blows... since well most like me want the Heirlooms more than the prizes for turning them in.

Since I have all 4 statues for my library now (yay?), I'm more interested in working my Jukan loyalty back up to Ally in the hopes that it someday means they won't attack me.

Mesanna's post in that thread makes me wonder what's in store. Usually Global Events start off really REALLY slow then get ramped up and have a good bit/or alot to do. This one is starting off fairly busy... can't wait to see them "ramp it up" on this one. Should be great!!

Best char imo is sw/tamer with a GD. Have seen some using a Mystic with a RC running around. The grave robbers have some pretty decent reflect, so for me dexxer was out.

I didn't really know either. When they announced the second part of the scenario, I was able to follow a few clues and then ran into a dead-end. After reading a few posts today about juka and meer statues, I somewhat lost interest. I don't want any statues, but if I don't do this part of the quest, will I regret it later on? I sure hope not.

...also....on europa ive only noticed a couple other players doing the graverobbers ....so maybe its not very well known TO THE PUBLIC.....seem to remember tokuna treasures got far more publicty....tamers seem the best with a GD

I have -3000 Meer loyalty, so I am concentrating on Juka statue reward route. Seems equal chance of Meer or Juka drop. I broadcast in chat "swapping Meer for Juka" and since the timers are almost 24 hours, you can hang on to them all until somoene to trade with comes online. After i have the two Juka statues, I'll go back to trying to rebuild Meer loyalty...

BTW I use a stealth Mage-Mystic-SW. It takes two RC's and a poison field or two and A WoD for the win for me to kill one.

I had this same problem. I just bagged all the Meer ones I would get and when I had finished that round of hunting I would stick them in a chest at the house. Log another character that did not have negative Meer loyalty and turn them in on him. He did not even have the quest to fight the Grave Robbers and was able to get both of the Meer statues that way.

I am hoping that some type of rebuilding or at least re-open the meer crypt will happen in the future. This has been interesting story, cant wait to see what is next.

I can't wait either... but you know what I'm REALLY hoping for???? I'd like to see them actually make the Meer City a REAL city.... complete with shops... and an Inn... I'd like to see them make Mistas a City again... full of Juka... (I'd like to see the loyalty system with both of them work so you could shop there in peace if you are loyal to them)..... I'd like to see the Ratmen have a city.... I'd like to see the Orcs have a working city... And I'd like each of the Cities to offer unique stuff.... and maybe even some unique recipes for crafting new things.

I'd like to see all 4 of them become playable races..... Meer, Juka, Ratmen and Orcs.

It is sort of nuts. I just started myself. Need to kill at least 100 graverobbers just to get 1 item, and it's complicated by the RNG which might give you a Jukan or a Meer item, meaning you will most likely need to kill at least 200 graverobbers just to get 1 item. To get the whole set you'd need to kill at least 1,200 graverobbers...as others have noted, that's like five days of non-stop killing. The part that bugs me the most is why are the Jukans like right there next to the graverobbers with no interaction? Shouldn't the Jukans whom are present be willing to fight for their items?

I can understand why EA wanted to make Gargoyles a race, pretty unique, but they dropped the ball with Elves...asking the players was a bad idea, hahaha. Should have made Orcs first then Gargoyles. There are enough familiar pieces associated with Orcs to easily keep the same base items like Axes, Ringmail armor, Orc Helms, etc....and the in-game base art is about the same size as a human.

It is about 600 graverobbers to get full set took me 20-25 h to do it with a Greater dragon
I also think when they do these kind of quest/event there should be a cheap reward for people that dont like grinding maybe one of the statues should be only 500 points and the other 10000

1,200 would be if the RNG failed completely, that's a bit too much I agree ...it would be 600 exactly if the RNG split a perfect 50/50 (and assuming someone started w/o any Meer loyalty, when in fact most will start with a few thousand). So far I'm getting about 70% Jukan.
