And on Friday and Sunday, I played all day to send all my characters to Casca until my right arm and wrist can hardly move without hurting. Now I have most of my characters stuck in that prison. And I have nothing to do today.

I thought we had until Tuesday, too. I was disappointed when I found the Casca/Melissa parts of the event were over. I went back to read what the official announcement said and I see the problem was with my interpretation of what they said, not with what they actually said.

Here's the quote, "In plain language, the murder mystery event will run another couple of days. We're expecting to have it wrapped up by Tuesday."

So, wrapping it up on Monday means it was wrapped up by Tuesday. They didn't lie.

Despite earlier predictions, the Royal Guard has encountered unexpected challenges in the investigation of the murders of several Royal Council members. The Captain remains optimistic, however, and expects to have the case wrapped up by early next week.

Let's deconstruct. They have mentioned that this event has to be turned on and off manually I think. They had some problem that prevented them from taking it down on Friday. They explain to be people that they will fix this problem and take the event down by Tuesday at the latest. They figure it out the problem pretty quickly on Monday and take it down. They get it down early this week before Tuesday.

They didn't lie. They may have used a wording that wasn't as precise as you would have liked, but they did nothing malicious. I did a few Melissa runs yesterday for fun since I figured it would be my last chance.

The event was supposed to end Friday. It didn't. You had 2 more days to do whatever you wanted. This event has been going on for 3 weeks now. I'm sure you got plenty of tickets if you were that dedicated to doing it so much.

So be glad with what you got already and don't whine about being foiled trying to game the system.

Over the last few days it's definitely been like that though. Seeing all the whining and complaining and people obviously trying to strike at the devs when most of them probably are the ones at fault puts me in a pretty bad mood.

I also have zero tolerance for people that complain endlessly about problems they themselves either caused or could have prevented.

If you wait until the last minute to complete something, and it goes kaput, you've got only yourself to blame. You didn't allow for mishaps obviously....anyone with responsability doesn't take that route, in real life or in a game world.....I sure as hell don't. My kid on the other hand....well, he's young and hasn't figured out the do's and don't yet.....also, if you're going to sit, parked at a pc and click until you swell up the muscles in the ulna to the point of circulation cut-off in your digits,.....you obviously have no self respect for your body.

Well, I did read that Tuesday statement also, and as a non native English speaker I took the Tuesday for truth as well.
So I got some time looking in today (due to vacation travels very sporadically) with one of my "stationary" resurrection chars (with scroll in backpack of course).
And *umpf* Casca gone.
Went to hand in the scroll for the spring cleaning deed - Ulrich gone as well.
Would have been nice at least to be able to complete the started quest, for what removing Casca would have been enough ...
Not upset, but also not happy.
